Al-Majlis Traditional Market welcomes visitors and takes them on a historical journey through shops that offer handmade products by the locals. The market also holds daily auctions for antique pieces such as utensils that were used in cooking and serving, artefacts, incense burners, grain and coffee grinders, and antique household tools. While wandering around the market, you can learn about the old method of education when schools were called "Kuttab".
